The Role of PR Strategy in Business Communications
For an organization, PR is not a set of publications, but a manageable part of the overall communication model. PR strategy determines how public communications relate to marketing objectives, sales, HR brand and internal processes.
When there is no strategy, PR activities become reactive: the company responds to external requests, but does not create its own agenda. A PR strategy sets priorities, defines areas of responsibility and builds a consistent logic for the brand’s public presence.
